The background for running the Company is more than 20 years of experience in the IT industry. 20 years of experience from working both as internal system administrator in a large IT organization and as external Consultant in nationwide consultancy companies. This background has provided a solid foundation for establishing Claus Friis Consulting, and an understanding of the challenges enterprises encounter in daily and often hectic operations departments.

I decided on 1. September 2003 to start my consultancy company providing services in consulting, support, implementation, audit and management of IT infrastructure solutions.

The primary reasons for starting Claus Friis Consulting, were:

To be able togive customers the support they need, regardless of the customer's size
To be able to offer specialized high competence in Systems Management projects
To be an independent of Vendors hence being able to offer the best solutions to customers regardless of vendor

Trust is important in a customer/supplier relationship. I believe that you come furthest in an open and honest dialog.I think the customers rightfully expect high competence when they choose to buy in external resources. This high competence can only be achieved by focusing on specific areas such as Systems Management.

With certifications from Microsoft, IBM, Tivoli and BMC Software, we have a broad background in IT infrastructure solutions and management of these.
